Address Septic Repairs Quickly with Down to Earth Construction Services

Down to Earth Down to Earth Construction Services hopes all mothers had a superb Mother’s Day yesterday.  While flowers are perhaps a more traditional gift, sometimes we understand that you have to be a bit more practical. Down to Earth Construction Services have septic repairs scheduled today for customers in Fall River, Swansea, Mattapoisett, Freetown, Marion, Acushnet, and Norton, MA.  If you have noticed that you have an unpleasant smell coming from your drains or even worse have sewage backup coming into your house, these are both signs that you may have a septic system problem.  It is inadvisable to wait to have these problems addressed.  Firstly, it is unpleasant and can actually be harmful if left, but also a small problem can become a larger one if left untreated and potentially be more expensive to fix.  We have experience with many septic system repairs and today they include a d-box replacement and outlet tee and a septic air pump repair.  If you need to schedule a septic repair or if you have any questions please do contact our office at 508-622-5759 or visit www.downtoearthconst.com

Down to Earth Construction Services Perform Septic System Services

Down to Earth Down to Earth Construction Services has septic system services for customers today in Rochester, Freetown, Mansfield, Middleboro, Raynham, Berkley, and Norton, MA.  We service septic systems on a quarterly, biannual, or annual basis depending on the needs of our customer and those of their septic system.  Proper preventative maintenance can extend the life of your septic system.  Systems that are not regularly maintained will average less than 20 years, however studies conducted by field professors, scientists, and engineers, reveal that proper maintenance can help a septic system to last indefinitely. This can save a homeowner thousands of dollars over a lifetime.  If you would like to arrange a septic system service or if you have any questions about our plans, please do contact our office at 508-622-5759 or visit www.downtoearthconst.com

Yesterday we started the septic system installation because our client chose to continue to use our services. We will also provide regular septic system services following the installation. We have recent experience with septic system installations in Oxford, Uxbridge, Marlborough, and Mattapoisett, MA.  If you need a septic system installation or if you have any questions please do contact us.

Down to Earth Construction Services also have septic inspections scheduled today in Berkley, Dighton, Norton, Freetown, Fall River, Fairhaven, Acushnet, and Mattapoisett, MA.  Most of the septic inspections that we do are for properties which are being sold.  However, we also have an inspection today for a property which has had an addition which included two bedrooms.  As specified by The Official Website of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs of Massachusetts:

“A system must be inspected upon any change of use or increase in design flow, BUT ONLY IF the change or expansion also requires a building permit or occupancy permit from the local building inspector. Examples include adding a bedroom to a house, adding seats to a restaurant, or changing the type of business operating at a commercial location. Check with the Building Department and/or Board of Health to find out if your situation requires a building or occupancy permit which will trigger a system inspection.

Any change in the footprint of a building also requires an inspection to determine the location of the system, to ensure that construction will not be located on top of any system components or on the reserve area. If official records are available to determine the location of the system components, this requirement may be waived. Check with your local Board of Health.
If you need to schedule a septic inspection or if you have any questions about septic inspections please do contact our office at 508-622-5759 or visit www.downtoearthconst.com

Title 5 Inspections by Down to Earth Construction

Down to Earth Down to Earth Construction Services has septic inspections scheduled today in West Bridgewater, Raynham, Seekonk, Taunton, Freetown, and Mattapoisett, MA.  A property owner or facility operator is generally responsible for obtaining an inspection of the system. If you are buying a property, Title 5 requires that a copy of the inspection report be provided to the buyer or other person acquiring title to the property served by the system.  The inspection is intended to provide sufficient information to make a determination as to whether or not the system in its current condition is adequate to protect public health and the environment.  The inspection, however, is not a guarantee that the system will continue to function adequately and is not a guarantee that the system will not fail at a later date.  However the owner or operator of the system is the legally responsible party required to upgrade a failing system.  Prior to transfer of the property, this is typically the seller. Often, the buyer and seller work out the financial issues as part of the sale of the property. Title 5 does not require that a system be in passing condition prior to the sale, but most lenders will not issue a mortgage until the failing system is upgraded or funds to perform the upgrade are escrowed . If you are selling a property with a septic system in Massachusetts, it is likely that you will need to have a Title 5 Inspection to be carried out.  If you need more information or wish to schedule an appointment please do contact our office at 508-622-5759 or visit www.downtoearthconst.com
